3rd Annual Charity Event

DRAKEphoto is teaming up with CASA again this Halloween! Come have your little ones photographed in costume this Saturday, while supporting a great local organization that offers hope and assistance to children who are victims of child abuse. A set of wallets will be given with each session booked as well as a chance to win a wall portrait from DRAKEphoto. The event cost is $35 and all proceeds will benefit CASA of Peoria. Congratulations Bob & Andrea!!

We recently photographed the wedding of Bob and Andrea. This couple is definitely one of the most fun that we have photographed and we have had a pleasure spending time with them! Bob proposed during last year's St Patrick's Day parade - anyone remember? They made the front page of the Peoria Journal Star! Their wedding was local and a family member to the bride runs Builders Warehouse who was gracious enough to let us use the building to create some awesome images. Congrats Bob and Andrea!

Friends (and clients) Shane, Amanda & brother Griffin welcome Tinley Faith to their family. Little Tinley was the best little model since she slept through her entire debut shoot! Amanda and I planned to photograph their family on her bed, Griffin had a blast jumping on it!! Congrats Shane and Amanda, I'm honored to capture your growing family!

a new chapter

After a year of planning we have finally begun building our new home! The property is located in East Peoria on a couple of acres that we have already put to use as one of our beautiful backgrounds.

We are currently operating out of a retail space on Springfield Rd, however once the house is complete, we will also move the business home as well. The studio is still by appointment, but give us a call if you'd like to stop in and see our temporary studio, we'd love to see you!

Attention 2011 Seniors!!

Senior ambassador time is near! We offer 1 senior from selected high schools to participate in our program. Free sessions and products are just some of the perks of the program! Anyone interested should contact the studio to fill out our application.

Congratulations Dustin & Laura!

Dustin and Laura have just celebrated their 10 year anniversary and wanted to mark the occasion with a session to show their love. So they got all dolled up (in her original dress - way to go Laura!) and we headed downtown. Sadly, the church they were wed in has been torn down, however their reception location the Cornerstone still stands. We had a great time and we love their images!

I really enjoy our full days of shooting. The fresh air, natural light and oh yes, our quick lunch dates we slip in between shoots. A new favorite - Cracked Pepper on Adams, near the McCluggage bridge. The turkey & artichoke panini is amazing - I'm going to have to convince myself to try something else, it all sounds fantastic! Cracked Pepper is a catering co as well as a cafe - stop in and support a local business!

Happy Birthday Bailey!

One of our little cutie pies turned 1 and came to celebrate with us! He's so expressive with huge beautiful eyes! His mommy brought the balloons (good job mommy!) and we had a blast! We love trying new things and love to hear your ideas - keep em coming!

I can't believe Christmas has come and gone, where does the time go?!? Christmas orders and card designs have kept me plenty busy, however I did manage to create a fun little video of Breeza and our nephew Josiah. What parent doesn't love showing off their little one, right?
