It's official - the Drakes have spring fever! We had the chance to shoot a session outdoors yesterday and we couldn't have been more excited. After our shoot we were 2 of many gawking at the flooded Peoria riverfront. As always we think in terms of images, here's a few of ours.

Recently Kel and I have been shooting a lot of animals. No, we have not been hunting. We have had the opportunity to get out and take some great photos of pets of all sorts. Pet photography is not something that we had really planned on doing when we started the business, however we have so much fun on each shoot and we love the images we get. Like with people, the eyes of animals are powerful and you can see so much personality in them. That is why in our images of animals we place a lot of emphasis on the eyes. We usualy photograph them in their home setting so they are more comfortable. Here are some of our recent favorites, hope you enjoy them too!
